One of the key benefits of the Delta style printers is the reduced desk footprint, but with the ability to build taller objects. I'm curious if prints that were designed for a flatbed printer need to be modified with any support, or anything special, or if you can just rotate it to a vertical position, and just let it go. Thoughts? Thinking about printing a case like this: www.thingiverse.com/thing:1013857John

Many items will have problems if you change which side is down. The biggest issues will be where things turn into overhangs or bridges.

In my view, footprint is not best side of delta, that can be done on regular style with clever design. Best side is relatively light moving parts, simpler scaling (to a point) and fixed printing part.
minimal infill is a must to minimize warping, good luck
