Totally loving my Geeetech Delta Rostock Mini 3D Printer. Besides an initial headache getting things running properly during the building process, it's been running excellent since. And this is one of the reasons why I wanted a 3D printer: The problem, a board camera that was an odd size and wouldn't fit my 270 Robocat quadcopter mount: Came up with a specific design for this camera: Then printed it out:

Little insert in the face cradles the camera: The back snaps into place using little tabs built in on the inside:

Once I get the hood fitted, should all be near perfect! Totally love being able to create something functional from nothing!! (Of course it's a complete fluke that everything fit just right and I did have to redesign once because my first solution to clip the two halves together didn't turn out, but no-one needs to know that! ).

nice, I bought it, as an excuse to learn modeling (for the most part) but now I don't have time to do that ...

And this is one of the reasons why I wanted a 3D printer: I too finally decided to get a 3D printer to print parts for RC stuff. So glad to see some success! I'm just finishing my build. This weekend I will start calibration.
