I recently purchased Simplify3D. Since the Geeetech G2S Pro is now a supported printer, with an FFF file provided by Simplify3D, I decided to store the unmodified version here for those who may need it. |

btw what i need to write up in to sf3d to be ok ?
right now in supported g2s setup something is wrong ,it slams in to bed like it don't see fw z min max setup

Here is my current configuration file for Simplify3D for the G2S Pro. This is configured to use the rear extruder, but it is easily modified to use the front or both extruders. John |

Hi John, thanks for sharing your profile.
I've a question, when there's small parts or short length to print, with my configuration I've too many retractions that cause block of estrusion, after some of this.
What settings I need to change in these situations?

What settings I need to change in these situations? Greetings, togiakratos. I've sold the G2S, but with any bowden connected printer, you need to be careful with your retraction settings. If you turn off retraction, you are more likely to get stringing, so you will want to experiment with how much retraction you use. The settings you want to experiment with are on the Extruder Tab in Simplify 3D. The lower box labeled "Ooze Control" has retraction and coast settings. Experiement first with turning off retraction to see if your print is better. It will usually add more stringing. Then, turn on extrusion, but reduce the extrusion distance. Experiement with all these settings to see what works best for you. Good Luck! John |
