I have made a specific Github repository to keep a version of the Marlin firmware specifically adapted to the Geeetech Delta printer.
This version is a fork of the last stable stable version of Marlin. It has already all the settings ready for the G2S printer. It can be found here :
Gitub G2S version
To install it on your GT2560 board you only have to :
Almost all other parameters may be changed and stored in EEPROM without any recompilation.
This version differs from the main version of Marlin mainly with the settings of the parameters and the correction of a few bugs. But it also include some harmless modifications that I found useful for current use. Bigger or risky modification will be made in specific branches of this version.
The improvements on this version are :
Others modification may be also included in further versions
This version has been compile and tested on a Geeetech G2S PRO version and should work gracefully however I can not guarantee its use on any other printer. Use it at your own risk.

Gitub G2S version
To install it on your GT2560 board you only have to :
- Download all the marlin directory to your computer and put it in your Arduino repository
- open the marlin/marlin.ino with the arduino IDE
- Change or verify a few things in the configuration.h file (it is the only file to modify) :
- verify the number of extruders
- verify the thermistors used (by default the Geeetech one is set)
- verify the geometry of the printer if you are not using the metal spider (the settings are for a PRO version)
- change the MANUAL_Z_HOME_POS value to the height of your printer (as written in the Geeetech manual)
- change the language you prefer with LANGUAGE_INCLUDE
- verify the number of extruders
- Compile and install the firmware on the board.
Almost all other parameters may be changed and stored in EEPROM without any recompilation.

The improvements on this version are :
- Functional function for auto levelling G29 (but you may have to modify your hardware see the specific thread)
- Parameters ready in configuration.h to calibrate tower positions with this link calibration of delta printer
- Direct command of Ledstrip (complete description in an other thread)
- Modification of the calibrate LCD menu to allow :
- direct choice of the final height between 0 and 10mm by 0.01 increments
- 7 points of calibration directly accessible by the LCD menu without the need of any computer or repetier-host
- Improvement of the G30 command (Single Z probe, probes bed at current XY location) to include repeatability tests with new parameters:
- I : number of iteration for repeatability computations compute mean height and difference sigma
- C : print steps on each tower at each z_probe stop
- Q : divider for the speed of final z_probe approach (from 2 quick, to 50 very slow)
- I : number of iteration for repeatability computations compute mean height and difference sigma
- ad the Q parameters (choice of final test speed) to autolevelling
Others modification may be also included in further versions
